Download the full report

Gas production at Europe’s largest gas field – the giant Groningen field onshore the Netherlands – will end in 2022, eight years earlier than planned, due the risk of earthquakes in the region triggered by production drilling. In our Special Report, “The Future of European Gas After Groningen”, we focus on five themes examining how the European gas market will change and what consequences the shutdown is likely to have.
